This site, jacobbrownacro.com, is run by me, Jacob Brown. This page explains what information the site collects and what I do with it. The short version: I count visits so I know what's useful, and that's it. I don't sell or share anyone's information.
The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser and tells me things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (country or city), what kind of device and browser they use, and how they found the site. I only see totals and trends, not who you are. I use it to decide what to add and fix. The site shows no ads. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
The site remembers a few of your choices, such as which menu mode you picked, in your own browser's storage. That stays on your device and is never sent to me.
Videos play through YouTube and Instagram, and many links go to other sites (Instagram, YouTube, Patreon, PayPal, Venmo and others). Those services may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies. Payments and donations are handled entirely by those services; I never see your card or bank details.
If you write to me, for example to book a lesson or suggest a move, I use your email address and message only to reply. I don't add you to any mailing list or share your details.
"JB YouTube Tools" is a private tool I use to manage my own YouTube channel (titles, playlists, captions and channel statistics) through the YouTube API Services. It only signs in to and accesses my own channel. It does not collect any information about visitors to this site or about other YouTube users, and the access it is given is stored only on my own computer. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
