The Acro Way Teacher Training

Acro as a way of life — an international partner-acrobatics teacher training.

The Acro Way is a two-week immersive teacher training built around a simple idea: acro as a way of life. In stunning locations, students dive deep into AcroYoga practice, play, and teaching — leaving not only with stronger skills, but with the confidence and tools to share them, whether the goal is to teach classes, host festivals, or simply go deeper in their own practice.

Founded by Gabi Bergback and Jacob Brown — community leaders who have been shaping the global acro scene since 2009 — the training draws on decades of combined experience across handstands, L-basing, standing acro, Icarian, whips and pops, dynamic transitions, and Thai Yoga Massage. Now in its fifth edition, it has welcomed students from all over the world.

Across 100+ hours of expert-led instruction, you'll grow through progressive skill-building and learn the teaching methodology to plan sessions, support diverse learners, and lead classes, jams, and privates. Reliable spotting and safety practices run through every style, so you leave with a strong foundation in both technique and responsibility.

Just as importantly, The Acro Way is about community. Certified teachers join an ongoing network with coaching and support to build their own classes, workshops, and local scenes — backed by practical tools for heart-centered marketing and growing an acro business. The throughline is connection: clear technique balanced with kindness, cooperation, and a whole lot of play.
